NYKS is the studio of Nishtha Kandoi & Yashvardhan. Under Nishtha’s lead — a B.S. Arch from DAAP, Cincinnati, with an exchange at École Spéciale, Paris, and time at Gensler, AS+GG and KPF — every project pairs the discipline of the world’s great practices with the craft of India.
How the work actually gets made.
NYKS is run by two people who design as one — Nishtha Kandoi and Yashvardhan Singh. Work begins with how you actually live: your routines, the things you cherish, how you want a room to make you feel. Every palette is chosen off a real material board and every drawing is resolved together. Nothing is ordered before it has been held.
